Gus Becvar

Gus Becvar B.Sc D.C

Chiropractor and Clinic Director

Gus graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1991.  He has a broad experience with patients from all stages of life - ranging from a four-day old baby, who had endured a rather complex introduction into this world, to patients who are well into their 90s. Gus has particular expertise in  post-acute rehabilitation techniques. He specialises in sports injuries.

“Since graduating I have seen many advancements in chiropractic care. The first chiropractic concepts were developed in the late 1800s and were concerned with the manipulation of misaligned vertebrae. Today’s Chiropractor understands health to reflect physical and mental wellbeing and considers both quantity and quality of movement. Chiropractors assess the mechanics of an injured area and make sure that the body is working with an improved efficiency. We don’t just manipulate joints but use a range of care techniques for bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons by massaging, stretching, and strengthening, helping to restore health.”
